The NC Research Campus (NCRC) is located, just north of Charlotte, in the city of Kannapolis, North Carolina. Centered on the advancement of nutrition, agriculture and human health, scientists from universities, industry, government and non-profit organizations are finding new ways to promote healthy lifestyles and to prevent, treat and cure the most prevalent diseases of our times like cancer, diabetes, obesity, Alzheimer’s and other diet and lifestyle-related disorders.
Research combines multiple scientific focuses spanning fruits, vegetables, grains, herbs, bioactive compounds, exercise physiology, post-harvest physiology to brain and fetal development. Opportunities are unlimited to form research collaborations, host conferences or join the campus. If you are interested in learning more, please visit the NCRC site.
